This is a very cool looking and great playing Univox Les Paul style electric guitar that is from at least the early 70s. It has some typical nicks and scuffs as one might expect from an older guitar but it is in very good condition overall. We did have to clean out the electronics with deoxit which cleared it right up. This is a nicelyflamed / figured top Univox Les Paul from the 1970??s. It comes with a like newheavy duty Road Runner hard shell case with keys. It is from the 1970's and Ibelieve was made in Japan. The pickups have been upgraded with 70'sera DiMarzio pickups and have a real crunch to them and are quitehot. One of the original pickups is included in the case. I am the original owner of this Univox Gimme made by Matsumoko in Japan! This is a great guitar for playing or to add to your collection. These things gave Gibson a run for its money. Researching it on the internet I found that the pickups are the same honey-colored plastic top humbuckers that were stock in the HiFlier Phases 3-4. 1970's Univox Les Paul copy in Excellent Condition. The neck is straight and the action is low. Frets are in good shape with plenty of life left. Electronics function perfectly, stock pickups sound great. Little bit of wear on the back (see photos) but in Excellent shape for a 50 year old guitar. Serial # 030961. Comes with original hardshell Univox case
