Jedson Les Paul Copy

Jedson Les Paul Copy, Made in Japan by Matsumoko. From the serial number on the backplate probably made in 1981. Very nice black body in good condition for age with binding, so not a base model. Machine heads have been changed to Grovers & the bridge to a Schaller roller bridge The pickups are Vanson '59 Alnico V's. These are perfectly adequate, but someone purchasing this guitar might want to upgrade to Seymour Duncan's or DeMarzio's

This is an early 1970s (most likely 1972 or 73) Jedson Les Paul copy. These were made for Dallas Arbiter by Matsumoku in Japan, who effectively made the same guitar for Rose-Morris (branded Shaftesbury) in the UK plus for other brands worldwide (Univox etc). This guitar is a step up from the numerous cheap black Les Pauls made in the seventies branded Columbus, Avon, Satellite etc, having a thicker solid body, nicer inlays etc
